Here is a list of four awesome and hilarious bugs in Microsoft’s prized possession Windows and Microsoft Office that no one ever in Microsoft’s Team could explain. I found this list shared on my Facebook Wall so decided to share it as a blog post these are really interesting and you must TRY them.
#1. Bug 1 Rename the folder !!
Nobody can create a FOLDER anywhere on the Computer which can be named as “CON”. This is something funny and inexplicable? At Microsoft the whole Team, couldn’t answer why this happened! TRY IT NOW, it will NOT create a “CON” folder
#2. Bug 2 Bush hid the Facts !!!
Do the following:
1.) Open an empty notepad file
2.) Type “Bush hid the facts” (without the quotes)
3.) Save it as whatever you want.
4.) Close it, and re-open it.
Noticed the weird bug? No one can explain!
Bush hid the facts is a common name for a bug present in the function
IsTextUnicode of the Microsoft Windows operating system. Microsoft
introduced the Unicode support function after the Windows 98 operating
system. In the development of Unicode, an unknown computer programmer
entered a hidden easter egg into notepad. Notepad is the Microsoft
Windows text editing program that allows you to adjust source code and
create web pages. The unusual programming string made it so that if you
enter the phrase “Bush hid the facts” into a notepad document, save the
document, close it, and then reopen it, the words “畢桳栠摩琠敨映捡獴”
appear instead.
#3. Bug 3 =rand(200 ,99) !!!!
It was discovered by a Brazilian. Try it out yourself?
Open Microsoft Word and type
=rand (200, 99)
And then press ENTER And see the magic.
#4. Bug 4 9/11 what Microsoft knew about the attacks !!!!!!
Did you know that a flight number from one of the planes that hit one of the two WTC towers on 9/11 was Q33N. In Notepad / WordPad or MS Word, type that flight number i.e Q33N. Increase the font size to 72. Change the font to Wingdings. You will be amazed by the findings.
